NorthStar Orthopaedics is a unique company within the industry. Currently employing 16 people, we provide manufacturers of Orthopaedic medical devices with the high quality infrastructure necessary for the sales, marketing and distribution of their products within the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Primarily focused on the high growth area of extremity surgery, NorthStar also works in partnership with our sister company Forth Medical in the supply of surgical devices for the spine. Choosing not to compete in the competitive arenas of hip and knee arthroplasty and pedical screw fixation, NorthStar are able to provide an extremely high level of service to our customers in these chosen specialities.

While the majority of companies in the Orthopaedic industry design and manufacture their own technologies, NorthStar’s success has been achieved through the flexibility we gain as a distributor to assemble a boutique range of complimentary products. This gives us the ability to be highly responsive to technological change within the industry, and as a consequence our product range has a very healthy mix of market leading innovation and proven design.

NorthStar has recently been acquired by UniPhar Plc, which is a tremendously exciting collaboration with synergies that will take the business through to its next stage of development.
