Pulse Lavage

Pulse Lavage is used routinely to prepare the bone mantle during cemented hip and knee procedures. NorthStar have collaborated with Swedish Quality Instruments (SQI) to provide UK hospitals with a very high quality semi-disposable system which is more cost effective and environmentally acceptable than fully disposable systems, while being more reliable and easier to use than the other semi-disposible systems on the market.

The handpieces are fully machine washable and are sealed so that no air escapes into the sterile field. The disposable tubing is made of polyurethane and does not use any PVC. It is available as either suction or non-suction, and the tubing sets are procedure specific, containing all the nozzles and splash guards required for the case.
