C-Arm Drapes

C-Arm’s play an increasingly important role in many trauma, spinal and minimally invasive procedures. To reduce the risk of infection, a barrier needs to be created between the C-Arm and the sterile field. The most basic way to achieve this is to use generic plastic drapes that are placed over the machine. This is often cumbersome and time consuming for the theatre staff.

Pharmasept drapes, exclusive to NorthStar Orthopaedics and our sister company Forth Medical, are bespoke drapes designed specifically for the hospitals individual model of C-Arm. This enables a perfect fit to be achieved, speeding up the application and reducing the potential for damage to the integrity of the barrier.
